Tintern - David Pedrick

An original solo guitar improvisation informed and inspired by a visit to the Welsh village of Tintern. The piece tries to accomplish quite a bit in its brevity by weaving simple melodic ideas over a semi-fixed chord progression which fleetingly encounters mixed meters before turning toward its completion; much like the River Wye as it wends through the village on its way to the Severn Estuary.
